I’m a Brooklyn native, and so excited to be attending medical school at SUNY Downstate, right in the heart of my home borough. I aspire to become a plastic surgeon and to seamlessly combine my creative and scientific sides into one career dedicated to improving patients’ lives.

I’ve always had a passion for creating, from painting and sketching to knitting, crochet, and beadwork, and I love experimenting with new techniques. My art is inspired by the everyday objects around me, whether it’s sketching NYC architecture or painting flowers in my backyard. My childhood love for art has grown into a broader passion for “making” — whether it’s paintings or sweaters or cards.

When I’m not creating art, I enjoy exploring NYC to find the coziest cafes and hidden restaurants, reading fantasy books, cooking, and hitting the slopes for some skiing.
